Time management is the idea that each person should use the 24 hours they have each day as wisely and quickly as possible to get the best results and be as active as possible. It doesn’t mean we can do an endless number of things in a day, but it does help us be more disciplined and make better use of our time. In fact, it’s mostly about how well we do our jobs or plans for the day and whether we do them as well as we can.

For example, if person X does 10 tasks in a day and 6 of them are wrong or need to be fixed while person Y does 4 tasks and all of them are right and praised, then person X is more likely to be right. Person X isn’t being useful or making good use of time in this situation; instead, he or she is wasting time. Person Y, on the other hand, tries to be as efficient and productive as possible by making good use of time and doing things in the right order.
